Hand Carved Painted Wood Folk Art Sculpture Pair Artist Signed Dated 1970s Man Woman
I am unsure of the origin of these wonderfully expressive pair of hand carved and painted figurines. Typically these are American or Swedish made (she gives off Swedish vibes while he appears more American) but they could also be from Canada as these were found in ME. They are both signed with the initials "T.O."; she is dated 1972 and he is dated 1973. They are about 8"-9" in height.
Condition: Very good vintage, folk art condition. These are rustic and not overly finished so expect some amount of paint loss and texture. She has a bit of a paint loss on her nose, for example.
